The 2011-2012 Masterworks Series has five outstanding concerts opening with Emanuel Ax performing Beethoven's "Emperor" Piano Concerto and closing with Mahler's Second Symphony, "Resurrection."

The Chamber Orchestra Series (new in 2011-2012) will take place in Charleston at the historic Dock Street Theatre in Downtown Charleston.

The Charleston Symphony Orchestra presents a Chamber Orchestra series in Columbia, SC.
In this series, the CSO presents chamber music in Charleston and the surrounding areas including: Summerville, Daniel Island, Mt. Pleasant, and beyond. These small ensemble concerts feature works by Beethoven, Mozart, and more great composers plus holiday tunes and special guest performers.
The CSO presents a three-concert chamber music series at the City Gallery at Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston.

This exciting new partnership between the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and the College of Charleston Music Department brings together 20th century masterpieces with diverse new works by leading contemporary composers.
