One of the best ways for a business to make a positive public impact that gets an immediate reaction from the community is to support the arts in the Lowcountry. The Charleston Symphony Orchestra is the largest, professional, full-time, resident orchestra in South Carolina. We produce a full performance season that lasts nine months - from September through May. Our budget provides for musician and staff salaries, guest artist fees, an employee full benefits package, and concert production costs. The majority of our revenue must come from corporate sponsorships, individual contributions, and grants. Each and every year!

The CSO not only performs world-class concerts in large venues across the Lowcountry, they can even perform at your private function! The orchestra is available for hire for corporate parties, convention galas, black tie events, holiday parties, customer or employee appreciation event, or other functions that you need to make a truly special occasion. Our music library is filled with arrangements of traditional classical music, romantic melodies, big band swing, beach music, movie scores, and even Michael Jackson songs! We can work with your program needs to try and accommodate any special request from a corporate theme song or jingle, to your CEO’s favorite dance tune.
There are a few limitations as to where and when the CSO can perform. We have 34 core musicians, but can work with your event planner or human resource officer to come up with the best arrangement for your venue size, office lobby, or parking area. No idea is outside our scope of imagination!
